Dialiskari Villas are the only residences built on the beachfront of the natural small harbor of Agios Nicholaos offering an exclusive getaway spot for those who want to experience close contact with nature and sea, tranquility that defines the landscape, as well as authenticity of the local people.
The newly built residential complex Dialiskari Villas consists of six very spacious houses.
Interiors, terraces, balconies and the garden space are impressively ample. This spaciousness is one of their distinctive and rarely found features.
There is one large house of 160 sq.m. accommodationg 5 guests and the other five houses of approximately 80 sq.m. designed to host 4 guests maximum. All the houses are 3 story.
On the ground garden level there a living room (with a sofa that opens into a double bed) and an open fully equipped kitchen, an interior dining area of 4, and an exterior dining area of 6 on the stone paved terrace with a wonderful garden, sea and island view. On the first floor there is a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a balcony with a sitting area for 4 and a sea view. In the attic there is a bedroom with two single beds and a small bathroom and little terrace with a another great view. The spaces are connected with a beautifuly designed spiral staircace.
The sixth house is 160 sq.m. and its arrangement is as following: on the ground floor there is a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room with a fireplace and a corner sofa-bed, an interior dining area and an exterior dining area for 6 people. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a fireplace and a walk-in closet, a balcony with a seating area and a view to the sea. The attic consists of two bedrooms- one with a single bed and one with two single beds.
Each house has air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped kitchen with an espresso coffee machine and a filter coffee machine, an alarm system and exterior access to the basement, as well as an exterior open kitchen.
There is always someone there to help you and give you any information you need.
Parking is provided and cleaning / ironing services as well.

Dialiskari Villas is sitting on the beachfront area of Dialiskari, a quiet natural port of Agios Nikolaos, very close to a fishing village called Marathopolis (or Marathos) in Messinia, a regional unit of Peloponnese. The recidences face the sea and the island of Proti and in vicinity, besides Marathopolis village, there are a few charming towns such as Gargalianoi and Filiatra and a few larger towns worth visiting such as Pylos,Methoni and Kyparissia of which the furthest can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Kalamata, which is the capital of Messinia, is at a distance of 60km and Athens is 300km away.
The closest settlement, Marathopolis, also known as the old port, is only 1.2 km away. This fishing village remains vibrant throughout the seasons with its taverns, cafes and bars located charmingly on a pedestrian walk along the sea and it is well supplied with mini markets, bakeries, grocery stores, souvenir shops, delivery services, beauty parlors, gas stations and a pharmacy.
Besides the beach located in front of the villas there are many other beaches close by: long and sandy, rocky and pebble; all very beautiful and clean. So just to mention a few: Lagoubardos beach, which is ideal for water-sports and windsurfing, is located North of Dialiskari. To the South at 1 km there is a small and very picturesque vulcanic beach of Barla and further south a very long Golden Sand beach. Voidokilia, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, only at 13km. In a radius of 30 km other important historical sites can be visited such as the astonishing site of the ancient city of Messini, the temple of Apollo Epikourios, the Museum of Chora with the findings from the Nestor’s palace, the castles of Kyparissia, Methoni and Koroni, as well as many sites of astounding natural beauty such as Gialova Lagoon (with yet another great castle), Neda river with waterfalls, Polilimnio with multiple waterfalls and mountain pools, Shinolakas waterfall, the islands: Sapienza, Sfaktiria and Proti and many tiny villages dispersed among endless olive groves and vineyards
Once you arrive to Messinia car rental is recommended as local public transport is scarce and there are many great locations which an only be reached by car.

the owners: Some decades ago, an American-Greek couple, was touring Messinia and they fell in love with the area. They immediately searched to buy a place here with a thought of creating a get-together oasis for their family, a place where they could spend holidays and where the the relatives could would meet up. As they were building the first 3 residences another idea prevailed which was to create a bit larger residence complex which could also serve as a holiday rental. If you stay at Dialiskari Villas you will be attended by some of the family with Constantina, , the daughter of the owners, in the lead.
the area:Dialiskari is a peaceful area with a pastoral feel yet it has a very interesting and past. The area was a part of the ancient city of Erana which relocated to a new settlement, todays Gargalianoi, because of pirate raids. There are preserved Roman ruins of a probably building with mosaic floors and patios and rooms. Two columns of marble with streaks two capitals Ionic ten bases Ionic columns and numerous marble fragments etc. were found in the vicinity. 50 meters southeast of the natural harbor there is a small church of Ag. NIcholaos-the patron of seamen-which was built by shipwreck survivors around 1900.

Marathos is located about 60km from Kalamata airport. Various airlines offer direct flights from a number of major European cities to Kalamata. Follow the sign to Pylos-Gialova-Marathos.
Several companies maintain daily ferry connections between the Italian mainland (Ancona, Venice and Bari) and the port of Patras, which is situated 200km north of Marathos (2 hours drive). Follow the signs to Pirgos-Kiparisia-Filiatra-Marathos.
Marathopolis is located in the Peloponnesian province of Messinia. The distance from Athens is approximately 300 km. From Athens follow the signs to Corinth-Tripoli-Kalamata-Kyparissia-Filiatra(as you leave Filiatra take the local road to Marathopolis and not the road to Pylos)-Marathopolis and only then to Pylos. After you pass Marathopolis within 1 km you will see a sign for Dialiskari Villas on the righthand side.
Coming from Patra: take the Patra-Pyrgos national road with direction to Kyparissia. After Kyparissia, the same instructions apply.
